Visual Theming
Seeing Is Believing

Identity development is conceived in consultation and verbalization.

But it remains as true as ever that a picture is worth a thousand words, and people readily connect images to products and organizations. Products and organizations do not live by words alone - they need a visual identity.

Logos

The connection between images, on the one hand, and products and organizations, on the other, is nowhere truer than with logos. A good logo is a succinct statement of all that a company or organization is. From the Red Cross to Fedex, logos help consolidate brand recognition.

I not only have experience in programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop. I am also an avid student of design, and can create an original logo that can take a key place in your branding strategy.

Characters

Logos are not the only visual element that solidifies brand recognition. Many products are readily associated with a character developed just for them - a mascot, if you will. Think of Tony the Tiger and Frosted Flakes. The character is recognizable and the buyer forms an attachment of sorts to him.

Working with dozens of base figures, each of which I can morph and retexture beyond recognition, I use 3D applications to develop unique characters which can reinforce brand association. Whether the style is semi-realistic, caricature, or manga/anime; whether the figure is human, animal, or other, I can develop a character that will help build your brand identity.

Other Imagery

Of course, I also work with more traditional imagery, such as professional photography that you supply, or stock photos available online. I can use high-quality images virtually "as-is," or "give them the treatment" to help them blend seamlessly into the special look and feel of the overall visual approach formulated for your product or organization.

Naturally, supporting graphics such as web site navigation, structural cues, and so on, will also be developed to provide harmony and cohesion to all applications of your visual presentation.
